DIY ANKARA HEADBAND for Women and Girls!

 Hello Fashion Bunnies!

Welcome to another DIY Project by FASHIONPRENUER . You really don't have to be a crafts person to make lovely DIY Clothing or accessories by yourself and save money. Whether your Accessories or your Clothing needs updating or your old weaves needs a remake etc. They can be renewed by useful DIY Tutorials you will find on this blog. We don't suggest that you throw old stuff away immediately. You can make over the old stuff and have something Fashionable that can be sold also.

FASHIONPRENUER DIY PROJECTS will not only save your money, but also give you the opportunity to create fashion stuff at home and make money. I am going to share with you the step by step process you need to make your own Perfect Bow with Ankara fabric. Follow the Steps numbered 1-22 in the Photo Boxes below.

MATERIALS needed include;

* 1/2 yard Ankara Fabric

* Already made Ankara Bow ( view ANKARA BOW TUTORIAL here  

* Wax Gum

* Lighter

* Thread

* Needle

* Scissors

Now that we have our Materials, Let's Get Started

STEP 1:  Place your plain headband and already made Ankara bow on your working table. Take your Ankara Fabric and cut out 1inch fabric from it. Then wrap the Ankara Fabric around the plain headband as shown in the photo below. 

STEP 2: Continue wrapping the Fabric round the band until you get to the end and the cut out the the excess fabric remaining. heat up your wax Gum with flame from your lighter till it starts to melt as shown in the photo below.

STEP 3: Apply your Melted Waz Gum to the end of your wrap and seal. with your thread and need, sew the Ankara Bow on to the Ankara band as shown in the photo below.

And your Final look should be like this.... as shown in the photo below.
